Today is the day we celebrate our oldest miracle who is turning FIVE years old.
Five years ago we welcomed our tiny miracle into the world
1 lb 3 oz
11 1/2 inches long
born at 30 weeks - just 71/2 months pregnant
The outlook was grim to say the least.
Doctors gave him no chance at survival.
The journey was long
The reward was great
Miracles happen every day
And I'm the Mom to two of them

For the first month, all we could do was hold his hand
Month #2 in the NICU
Feeding tubes, ventilator, an IV in the head, and battling many infections
After 3 months in the NICU, finally at home
