Here are my answers! 

1. Do you like the season, Fall?
It's my all time favorite! It's the time of year when it FINALLY cools down in Arizona and we can go outside again. Woo Hoo!

2. What is your favorite fall smell?
Maybe... Baking cookies?

I seriously DISLIKE anything pumpkin... sorry folks! :)

3, What is your favorite activity to do in the fall?
Anything outside 

(Seriously... we are shut-ins from May-September here in AZ!)

4. Do you dress in fall colors during the season?
Only for our trip to the Pumpkin Patch ;)

5. Name 4 qualities about yourself that start with each letter in the word FALL!

Cooler Weather, Decorating and Holidays!

 

2. Are you a football fan and if so who is your favorite team?

First let me say I don't hate football.

I also don't super-love it.  I tolerate it I suppose :)
We cheer for the AZ Cardinals.  I can handle about 1 game on Sunday and that's it ;)

 

3. What is your favorite fall scent?

I dislike anything pumpkin flavor or scented! yuck-ville

I'll go with vanilla ;)

 

4. So you have seasonal allergies?

YES! In fact, in the spring I break out in hives occasionally.

Am I lucky or WHAT?!

 

5. Have you started Christmas shopping yet?

Just window shopping in my head so far. 

No purchases made :) But Ideas all around!

Truthful Tuesday on Wednesday

Hi All!

Sorry for posting my Truthful Tuesday on Wednesday... I hope you understand.

Me and the Kidlets are sick and things are moving a little slower around the house these days.

So, without further ado... I present Truthful Tuesday on Wednesday :)

Welcome to another week of...

Here are this week's questions!

1. Do you prefer sweet or salty foods?

5. What is your favorite season of the year?

Here are my answers! 

1. Do you prefer sweet or salty foods?
If you know me, you know I am a SWEETS fanatic.

On the morning of my wedding day I ate cheesecake for breakfast! That's how I roll ;)

Now that I'm working on being more healthy and fit, I'm limiting my sweet intake and doing very well!

2. Name your 3 BEST personality traits!
I've always tried to be kind to everyone, honest and sincere.

3. Name your 3 worst personality traits!
I tend to think MY way is the best way,  I don't like to pay full price for anything (ever), and I tend to take over any vacation plans because I can't release control! LOL

4. Do you collect anything?
I used to collect all sorts of things as a kid/teenager (figurines, horses, bells, you name it). I've let go of that because after you move a bunch of times and never unpack it you realize it wasn't that important to you. :)

Right now I collect fabric :) 

5. What is your favorite season of the year?

Fall and Winter are my favorite.  Being in Arizona you just DREAD the summer.  110' degrees gets old after a week.  I can't wait to start decorating the house for the fall and really start to enjoy being outside again.

Here are my answers! 

 1. What are some of your pet peeves?

Darn, I have a lot of pet peeves.  Here are a few... having to ask more than once for my child to do something he's been asked to do.  Putting away food that someone else got out and didn't put away.  Stepping in something wet on the kitchen tile floor.

 

2. Do you have a favorite or lucky number?

I've always liked the numbers 7 and 23.

 

3. What is one of your family traditions?

My family loves to go to Disneyland/Disney World together.  We try to go often or get season passes if we can afford it.

 

4. Is there anything you are OC about?

I'm trying to let go of a lot of my OC habits.  I'm not as crazy as I once was about say... folding towels.  If someone wants to help me fold towels I'm all for it.  I don't need the closet to look perfect :)

I do NEED to be the one to plan trips and pack for trips however.  I can't let go of that OC habit. Must be in charge ;)

 

5. What is your favorite kind of food?

Chocolate. Bread. Soup. The end.

1. Do you prefer to use a regular pencil or mechanical pencil?
I prefer a regular pencil

2. What is your favorite color in the crayon box?

I'm really liking PURPLE lately :)

3. Bottled glue or glue stick?

Glue Stick all the way.

4. Calculator or do it in your head?

I can add simply math pretty quickly, but when it's important or more in depth I get out the ol' calculator. I'm a fan of the calculator on my iPhone!

5.Favorite subject while in High School?

Art! I loved art from kindergarten on. It was my Favorite!

 Patience.

Peanut Butter TWIX!  The version that is available right now is ok, but the "old" version with the normal cookie base was fan-tastic!! :)

3. If you could vacation anywhere in the world, where would it be?

I would love to visit England, Italy and Australia.  MoDaddy really wants to go back to Taiwan, where he served a mission for our Church. I'd love to go there also.

4. What 3 adjectives would you use to describe yourself?

Friendly, Positive, Motherly (?)

5. In one word, how would your best friend describe you?

Creative

1. Do you excercise regularly and what do you do?

2.  Do you have any weird sleeping habits?

3.  How often do you vacuum? 

4.  Do you accessorize and if so what is your favorite thing to accessorize with?

5.  What is your favorite drink in the summertime?

Here are my answers this week:

1. Do you exercise regularly and what do you do?

Define regularly?  Okay, no I don't have an exercise plan right now other than chasing my 8 mo old around.  

I have some BIG developments on this though coming to the blog soon! (emphasis on BIG = lbs overweight since baby #2)  The next few weeks will show a big change in this area.

2.  Do you have any weird sleeping habits?

Yes.  I like to sleep on the right side of the bed and face to the right side of the bed to fall asleep.(I'm also right handed, does that count?)  

I also keep a pillow on that side of the bed for MashMo kitty to sleep on. He is a good snuggle kitty.

3.  How often do you vacuum?  

 Hubby vacuums once a week. He loves to, why deny him that luxury in life?

4.  Do you accessorize and if so what is your favorite thing to accessorize with?

I've just gotten back into accessorizing. Babies pulling on necklaces and earrings are just not fun. My favorite would probably be bracelets.

5.  What is your favorite drink in the summertime?

Pepsi. With extra ice please :)

Here are this week's Questions:

1. What is your favorite craft or type of craft and if you are a crafter

how did you get into it?

2. What shows have you been watching this summer?

3. Who does the yard work at your house?

4. Are you working on any projects inside the home or outside this week?

5. Do you have to worry about getting ready for back to school? 

And here are my answers:

1.  My favorite type of craft is sewing.  I'm fairly new to sewing but I love to sew quilts.  I've self taught myself everything and I'm having a blast figuring it out along the way.

2. I'm watching Hell's Kitchen right now.  We love anything with Chef Ramsey. (In Fact, KidMo is considering BEING Chef Ramsey for Halloween! LOL) I also am a sucker for reality shows, I love to watch the Bachelorette.

3. MoDaddy does all the yard work. He's responsible for everything on the outside of the house and I'm responsible for the inside :)

4. This week we are focused on Celebrating!  KidMo turns 5 today and we had a super fun day with him.  We're getting ready for his Cars 2 party this weekend. I also just wrapped up one quilt and am starting another!

5. This is our FIRST back to school season. I have no idea what I'm doing or what to expect. I can hardly believe my baby is old enough for school. He starts Kindergarten soon. ACK! help! lol

Here are my answers!

1. Have you ever attended a professional sports game?
Yes.  This family love sports! If you ask MoDaddy, he'll tell you he only supports the Utah Jazz!  However, the rest of us are Arizona Diamondbacks and (gasp) even Phoenix Suns fans also!

2. Have you ever been to a concert and if so which one was your 

ultimate favorite performance?

In my single days I went to quite a few concerts. As a married couple, $60+ feels like a crazy amount of money to spend on seeing someone perform live.  That being said - we will be attending Josh Groban this summer! I can't wait!

3. Have you ever been to Disneyland or Disney World?

Is this a rhetorical question?  Just kidding.

YES! We LOVE Disney! We had Disneyland Season Passes until recently.  It's one of our favorite places to spend time as a family. We've been to Disney World once and are hoping to make it back soon.  BabyMo has never been to DisneyWorld!

4. What is your favorite theme park?

I love Disneyland. Some say the rides aren't that exciting - and that is perfect for me. I'm super afraid of heights and anything that falls suddenly. Disneyland has a few of these rides, but I just avoid them.  I love rides that spin - the TeaCups are the best!

5. Do you have a favorite vacation spot?

We have used most of our family vacation time to either visit family in other states or go to Disneyland. We are pretty predictable. We're trying to break the habit and could use some suggestions on where to go next.  Do you have any ideas?

Truthful Tuesday: Get Organized

Today's Truthful Tuesday is all about being ORGANIZED.

I just have to say,
"Doesn't it feel GOOD to be Organized?"

Here are my personal top 10 reasons for being organized:

1. It feels good
2. Your things don't get lost
3. You can teach your kids to put away their stuff
4. Things get broken when they are in the wrong spot (ie: not organized)
5. You don't buy multiples of the same item simply because you can't find the first one
6. It looks good (I LOVE a clean countertop!)
7. You have more space
8. You are aware of your "inventory"
9. You save money (see #4, #5 and #8 above)
10. NO clutter!

Truthful Tuesday: Hair

Today's Truthful Tuesday post is all about HAIR.
Grey Hair.
Losing your hair.
Why my baby made me lose my hair and grow grey hair.

No one seems to talk about it, but I'm here to tell you ladies that oh yes, it happens!

Right after I came home from the hospital with BabyMo I started losing my hair by the handfuls. 
And I'm not exaggerating.

It looked like a Tiger had coughed up a fur-ball in my sink. 
That's how much hair I was losing each and every day.

I figured it was no big deal and that it would stop. It happened when I had baby #1 too. 
Eventually it did stop, four months later.
By then, I actually had bald spots on my head.
Awesome right?

Oh ya, and one of my best friends was getting married in a few weeks.  Oh ya, and I was in the wedding. Oh ya, that means formal pictures.

Bring it on.
That's when I noticed these little teeny tiny hairs starting to grow back.... halleluiah!

 See all those small hairs in the lower left of the photo growing diagonally to the top right?
(They aren't hard to miss- they are all grey.... uh, white actually)

And yeah... I took that photo this morning.
True photo (someone call TMZ).

Those, my bloggy friends, are the new hairs that have finally grown in.
Seriously? At 34 all of my new hair is growing in white?
Okay, maybe not ALL of it, but most of it.

This is a pretty TRUTHful Tuesday, isn't it?
I hope I haven't scared you all away yet.

The truth IS that babies do strange things.  My baby is adorable. So I'm okay with having weird hair right now.  But, I'll be seeing a stylist next week - so I'm feeling okay for now.

I've had long hair almost my entire life.  Babies 1 and 2 have changed my hair forever and I realize that super long hair is just not my thing anymore. 

I'm not going directly to the "Golden Girls" haircut just yet, but I'll be there in another 30 years for sure.

Until then, I'm looking for some ideas on cute short (or shorter) haircuts.
And ideas on your favorite stylists and styling products.
